Local shops including the Levee Shack and 1251 Place welcomed shoppers to Christmas Open House on Saturday, Nov. 15. Businesses debuted their Christmas decorations as well as their perfect Christmas gifts and report a very good response. Open House is sponsored by Tunica Main Street.

A marker honoring Harold “Hardface” Clanton is now officially part of the Mississippi Blues Trail. Clanton was an entrepreneur whose businesses brought several famous blues entertainers to Tunica.

TUNICA MAIN STREET'S WINE TASTING AT CAFE MARIE

Eddie McGreggor of Cafe Marie welcomed guests to Tunica Main Street's Winetasting on September 22.  Dan Michaels (left) of D'Vine Wines in Southaven, Miss. was the presenter for the evening.  Tunica Main Street assistant director Kate Scott Pennock said the next wine tasting will be held October 20 and will feature a twist.  For reservations, call (662) 363-6611.
